The Interdisciplinary Department was created in 2015. It offers students five MA and three PhD programs. The MA programs include Conflict Analysis and Management; Organizational Development and Consulting; Gender Studies; Media Psychology (English-language); Post-Soviet Transformation: Politics, Economy and Society (English-language). The PhD programs include Conflict Analysis and Management; Urbanism; and Personal and Organizational Development.  The Urbanism PhD program began within the framework of the EU Tempus RETHINK Program.   

The Department includes highly qualified academic personnel and specialists from foreign universities. Students acquire systemic theoretical knowledge of interdisciplinary connections and graduates are able to organize and implement independent scientific research using theoretical and methodological approaches within various disciplines.
